City Council Meeting 1/05/06...
It gets very confusing on this site to keep up with comments on tonight's meeting 1/5/06...How about this new thread be used for any remarks regarding tonight's meeting?

I was rewinding my tape of the public comment and then I hear the Mayor say " We have lost two members of our council"! What the ????

Tonights Council Meeting
If you are referring to Coffey I stepped outside and she was on the phone with her mother updating her about her grandfather who has terminal cancer. Apparently she had been waiting for the call since early afternoon.
Yea I agree pretty damn good questions, protecting future growth and the city attorney backed her up. Even after missing 30 minutes she was still on the mark more so than the others.
I left early right after that presentation. I called her today to commend her about knowing all about the water and she admitted to me that she actually spent most of Friday reviewing the study, options, and future growth expectations with the city staff. Now that's prepared.
I don't care what anybody says she is always prepared and always asks the right questions. You all know it's true.
