Want to try something new this summer? How about joining us for a Special Summer Edition of the Citizens Academy? One evening a week for eight weeks. Get an inside look at how we treat and distribute your water, where the waste goes when you flush, how parks are built and managed, and how we finance it all. Engage in a little police action and climb the fire truck ladder. Through it all we talk about policy issues, community successes and challenges ahead. We are inviting high school seniors to join us this time as well! Tuition is FREE and we provide dinner. An excellent opportunity to get to know your City.
