I was curious if anyone can tell me what was going on near Crawford and James Rd a few nights ago around 9:30 pm, there were sirens blaring for about 20 minutes coming from everywhere and I never saw anything in the papers or anything on here! I am just being curious (ok, well nosy!) I think it was somewhere near the AC Baptist Church,,,
Thanks!

The only thing I have knowledge of within the last week or so in that area requiring that much attention was a house fire. The house on the corner of Thayer and Andrew, across from the church had a small fire in the water heater closet causing more smoke than anything else. The homeowners were not home during the fire and there were no reported injuries. Due to the risk of the fire expanding rapidly, fire crews from Vallejo and Napa also responded. The fire was extinguished within a few minutes and the rest of the time was spent airing the house out from the smoke and some clean up work.
