Who would of thought, but there it was in the latest edition of the Post on page 5. Right next to Life with Paris (heh, isn't that a Luperini pup) a big quarter page ad for Lori's new real estate business.
Well, as Rodney King asked years ago, "Can't we all just get along?" Well Rodney, Yes!!! Apparantly we can!

Maybe Luporini knows that the Post is the only paper in town that builds businesses and that for the price of the ad it is the best deal in town. After all it is free, full of factual information about our city, tastefully designed, and delivered dry to every home, business, apartment, and mobile home including Hiddenbrooke.

So maybe she (Luporini) was paying attention when local businesses were advertising continuously and their businesses have grown with leaps and bounds and they (the businesses) obviously advertise nowhere else. Simply put, why should they?

Both women are in business and are professionals. Luporini is trying to launch a new career and Coffey has the best product capable of achieving that goal. Perhaps if more businesses in town took notice they too wouldn't be complaining that they have no business. I suggest we try not to read too much into this. I say let's applaud them for being able to work together in yet another capacity.

The POST is delivered to every home and business??? I have never seen the post. Every time I go into a store or restaraunt I see the ECHO or The Sentinal. I doubt its deliverd to every house or business as you say. Must not be that great of a paper!!!

Two professional women are trying to do what is best for the city, no matter what it takes. These two ladies agree to disagree on past issues and vow to work together for the future of American Canyon. I applaud these two women. The "fighting" is detrimental to the city and it's residents. We need to build a high school and take care of our own. The council needs input from the community in order to make good decisions.

We always get the Post sometimes a little later than others but it gets here. Since Cindy joined the council I think the paper has improved greatly and I especially enjoyed reading the articles this week. Yes and I saw the 'advert' just goes to show advertising works!

I just signed a one year agreement with the Post. I have tried all of the rest and just decided to make the committment. I know some of my friends are going to too. It's just a better looking and quite frankly a better read paper. LOOK for me in March, try and figure out who I am....LOL

If you can then I know it's working! I just decided if I want people to keep money in A/C, I have to do the same. It's the only A/C paper that is a business owned and operated in A/C just like us. It's time we stop supporting outside businesses and start supporting our own. Gee I just figured that one out. Thank God I don't do anything with numbers.

As for Lori advertising in Cindy's paper, smart choice!

Cindy's paper is a great place to advertise. We have been advertising now for several months, and have definately seen an impact from the ads. I tried advertising in other papers, some were even cheaper, but I did not see the results.

I can honestly say that going for the big dollars with Cindy in advertising was a great decision that is definately paying for itself and more.

Anyone who has seen our parking lot lately at the Napa Valley Casino knows that we are packed several nights a week.

The Napa Solano Post really got the word out for the card room and I am grateful. Because we are growing, we are hiring more staff, and creating more jobs. Stella has started the dealing school, which has also been a big hit, and help us train much needed dealers.

But mostly I can say, it's a lot more fun being busier and it couldn't have happened without the Napa Solano Post and its guaranteed delivery, and by direct mail to boot. It is the most cost effective ad we have ever done here at the card room.

Wow, sounds like a testimonial, I guess it turned out that way!

I was really suprised to see the ad in the post. BUT I think now that they (Cindy and Lori) are working together, that they try to put there past somewhat behind them. The two of them will always believe in whatever they believe.
When the election began i was not at all rooting for Cindy Coffey. But now that we are a few months into this term...i dont think she was as bad of a choice as people thought. I still dont agree with everything she says but she still does a good job, enough to respect her atleast. I guess what im trying to say is that maybe Lori feels this way. Maybe Cindy feels the same way about Lori...who knows, only the two of them could confirm that.
And i dont mind the POST but i personaly think that the AC Eagle is better...i dont know maybe because it looks more like a perfessional news paper OR maybe i like how they put in more stuff on events. Im not saying that the POST doesnt, because they do, its just...the stories at written as facts and not oppions. (BTW Why dosnt the POST write the authors name above a lot of its stories?!?!?) But anyways its just my oppion. and i have one just like everyone else on here does.

If you watched the last city council meeting, (Personally, I got tired of all the questions that Cindy asked) however, she was right on top of everything and certainly did her homework...
Maybe because I didn't have the agenda I got kind of lost...
I must say you have to give Lori credit for hanging in there...How would any of you like to have your life put under the microscope? Give her a break and give Lori and Cindy a chance to work together...
Apparently, from what I've seen, the women are much stronger on the council than the men...

I think if you want something accomplished rely on a woman. Not that men are incapable. For years the men have ruled the roost from City Council, City Manager, and City Department heads.

It's time the women shake things up, bring in some new talent, and start checking what is really going on in this city. The days of the good 'ol boys running this town are over.

I am glad Cindy and Lori are asking questions, Lord knows somebody needs to. Lori was asking them for so long she was branded a troublemaker. Well two asking questions are not troublemakers, but instead are allowing the public to get informed on how your money is being spent.

I personally have learned so much watching the meetings and have a renewed interest in local politics. I am even watching as many commission meetings as I can.

Working long hours and raising a family tends to keep most of the local people from attending, but having reruns, Tivo, and the ability to pick up a tape to watch it later is great as it gives the public the opportunity to be included.

I think the city will be shaping up the way the original members had envisioned it to be. Issues that have been put on the back burner or ignored will now advance to the forefront. Isn't that what any of us really want? Just to know our little community is being managed and our interests are protected. I know that is what my family wants. I want to feel comfortable when my triplets are ready for school they can finish in American Canyon. For my husband and I that will be a calming thought.

Keep up the good work ladies! We are rooting for you.
