The United States Youth Volleyball League is bringing its excitement to American Canyon for our Spring 2008 season. The USYVL provides kids ages 7-14 the opportunity to learn how to play volleyball in a safe, supervised, low-pressure environment.
Our “every child plays” philosophy encourages not only those who already know how to play volleyball but also those who want to learn how to play. All kids and parents are invited to come out and enjoy recreational volleyball practices and games while building self-esteem, confidence and teamwork. We have several volunteer positions open as well for coaches, First Aid, and Registration; this is a great way for parents to spend quality time with their kids and help them learn how to have fun while working with others.
The American Canyon season runs from April 17 to June 7; Thursdays 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays 9-10 a.m. at Kimberly Park.
