so whats the deal with the smell from the transfer station?

is it me or is the smell spreading farther down the line? it seems i can smell in front of the 7-11 store now? are they gonna fix the smell or improve the smell or are we just stuck?

I think they should close that transfer station. If we want to get together on, lets start the process to close it down. That place is why we have trash all over the highway.

The smell is from the Napa Garbage site in which they have huge compost piles that are "hot". The smell is not from the transfer station. When the fog rolls in, it keeps the smell low and spreading low. We notice it usually in the winter months and when the cloud cover is thick over American Canyon. I have asked about how to control the smell, and they are supposed to be watering the piles down.
