American Canyon Veterans

To any Veterans that live here in town I want to make it known (if you don't know already) that there is a Veteran's of Foreign Wars post located here in American Canyon. If you've seen them in local events, they're not from Napa or Vallejo, they're ours. There's not a VFW Hall here, but we're a gre...

Suspicious Activity (Teenagers)

Recently, there's been an increase of teenagers, possibly from Vallejo(?) wandering around the Napa Square area, particularly the blocks within Kimberly, Elliot, Danrose, and Marla Drives, walking onto private property, and scoping out private vehicles. Though this is summer recess, this increase (a...

American Canyon Troop Support

Howdy All, This is your local (ex) Navy cop, just wondering about something.... Since I've been back home (for the past couple of months), I've seen something around called "American Canyon Troop Support." I've got the jist of it, but was wondering how active it is. The only website I've s...

Re: Sneak previews of new site

Looks pretty good! It's just nice to be able to look at the site (and) be back home in AmCan at the same time! But you helped me kill some time while I was away from home, Issa. Thanks Again!

Re: Airsoft

Deputy Brownlee,

Not sure what Knoxville OHV is, just giving input on the area of Knoxville that is owned by F&G. Should be known as Knoxville Wildlife Management Area.

But, I've been away from home for quite a while. Just trying to help....

Re: Airsoft

Part of the Knoxville area is owned and operated by the California Department of Fish and Game. There may be hunting and/or target shooting occuring in the area, as well as DFG wildlife management operations. I was an employee of DFG when it was aquired by the Department, and have hunted and target ...

Re: THE NEW AMERICAN CANYON WAL-MART!

I haven't posted for quite a while but I would like to give my observation of the new Wal Mart. For packaged and frozen goods...you cannot beat the price at Wal Mart! For fresh produce and meat...Safeway! On a personal note: Officer Thurman, I hope you will be back in town safe and soon. Thanks, ac...

Re: It's about time!

Eh? Sushi? In American Canyon? Chief, looks like you and I have yet another trait in common...... I can eat me some serious sushi. Me and my wife used to frequent a place up in Sacramento years ago, before it shut down. Dang it, man! I can't wait to come home!

Death penalty opponents are the same ones that don't agree with you and me cathing fish, and hunting deer and making venison roasts, yet they're the same ones that have no problem with a Lake County meth-hoar having her tenth abortion..

Re: ROUND TABLE PIZZA

Man! I'd love to have me some Round Table Pizza right now. I've only had it a couple of time in almost 5 years, since they don't exist in the east coast, or the Persian Gulf. Man, I was brought up on that pizza! Hell yeah! The last time I was in American Canyon (last January, while on leave) I saw t...

Re: Tired of Talking to Myself...

This forum will not suffer. Here I am, dang near halfway across the world, and I'm posting on here. It seems like, though, that myself and mattbb61 are the only ones left that cares (since not even Issa has posted a reply to my welcome thread). I've been a resident of American Canyon since 1978, whe...

Weclome/Introductions

Hey all, I joined the forum about a year ago, but just haven't gotten around to having some fun with it until now. While cruising through the forums, there really isn't any welcome topics for (new) members to introduce themselves. So I figured I'd post this one, and perhaps everyone else here might ...
