Dog Park Plans for the Proposed New Veterans Park

I have read in the local newspaper that there is supposed to be a "Dog Park" built in American Canyon at the new Veterans Park which will run along Highway 29 between American Canyon Road and the Vallejo/American Canyon city limits.

Does anyone know when this construction will begin and whether or not anyone is soliciting input from dog-loving residents like me??? I would like the opportunity to see the plans and to comment on them. Is it too late now to offer any input on the new dog park?

The best agency to contact for information regarding planned construction would be the City of American Canyon Planning Department for the project plans and construction dates. They can be reached at 647-4336.

You may also try the City's Community Services Department at 648-7275.
