Non-profit Recycling Center

Post by Guest »

With the closure of one of the bottle and can buyback centers in American Canyon, VALCORE Recycling is available to buy back your California Redemption Value (CRV) beverage containers. VALCORE is a certified buyback center as well as a recycling drop off location. Accepted for donation are bottles, cans, food glass containers, paper, cardboard, ink/toner, clothing and other textiles, and books. There is a ReUse area with free items for the public. Primarily the ReUse Barn has books and magazines, but you never know what you might find. The only charge at VALCORE is for the paper shredding service.

VALCORE is a 501c(3) non-profit organization run by a coalition of local non-profit groups which include House of Acts, Sierra Club, Scout troops, 4-H and Solano Diversified Services. Income from your donations to VALCORE goes to these groups.

For questions, call VALCORE at 645-8258 or visit our website at http://www.valcorerecycling.org.
