Disturbance on American Canyon Road Feb 8/9

Post by Concerned »

On Friday night Feb 8th around midnight there was a police action on American Canyon Road by the Northampton Park. Lots of police cars and flashing lights for more than an hour. On the American Canyon Road side, we saw someone running thru the neighbors back yard and saw officers and the police dog chasing someone down Northampton Drive. I have seen nothing in the papers about this incident and since the person running thru the back yard completely broke down a side gate by running right thru it, it appears to be somewhat serious. We heard that someone was tasered and that one person "got away" but have no idea the validity of that information. We don't need specific details but it would be good to know what is going on in our neighborhood.

From what I understand that evening Vallejo Police was in pursuit of a person known locally and the pursuit ended in that area. The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later and is still in custody… As for the gate, if it needs repair, I believe you can contact Vallejo Police (648-4321) and file a claim for the cost of the repairs. Hope this answered your questions.
