Landscaper to recommend?

Post by BlueJay »

Hi,

I'm looking for a local landscaper or landscaping maintenance company to help beautify our back yard in American Canyon.

Does you have someone you're happy with or that you would recommend? I sure would appreciate any suggestions. I've already called one person to come by the house to check it out and he was a no-show. :(

Well, I don't know what exactly you are interested in doing, but my brother owns California Native Landscapes. He's out of Marin and does beautiful landscaping using, native plantings of California. He also does habitat restoration, installation, irrigation and design. He is licensed. I am trying to get him to come and do my yard - clients before family! LOL

Me too, but with a catch...

I too, am ripe for a landscaper to do my front yard, but havent had the time nor money... However, both are coming up, and I want to ensure that NO illegal labor is used. Consequently, can anyone state categorically that they know of a law abiding contractor who only uses legal American citizens as their labor force?

Hello again, I can assure you that No illegal labor is used. My brother has a wonderful crew that are all experienced landscapers... FYI. Of course, he may be a bit more expensive then the guy next door. But worth every penny.

MEL, thank you for the answer. He shall be the first one I call when I get the money I need. I'd rather pay more, knowing those doing the work didn't put their middle fingers into the face of our laws, and by extention, my own face, by sneaking/swimming into my country.
