No Tenure for Teachers in AC?

Post by ac94503 »

I happen to be surfing the channels tonight and ran across a broadcast of the NVUSD meeting...I listened to many parents speak about 2 teachers that will not be returning to Donaldson Way and ACMS. Both individuals sounded like they had such support, I am surprised this topic has not been brought forward as a discussion on AC online...

My children attended Donaldson Way many years ago...I think I would have been thrilled if the current gentleman teaching 3rd grade was their teacher. (I apologize for not catching his name) Quirky...got to love it!
Especially when there are positive results like kids wanting to go to school.

We didn't have a middle school built at the time my kids were ready to move on so they were bussed to Silverado...and loved it!
But, Mr. Stewart seems very committed to his students and community.

I don't know the details because "out of the loop" but I would like to understand why 2 teachers that appear to be so commited to their students would be let go... Maybe someone could enlighten me?
