ColdStone??

Post by VicRiv »

I walked to Safeway to by some lunch stuff earlier today. I saw a sign that says Coldstone 'No longer in business". I also see the small phone place by Starbucks is closed, as well.

Any one have a heads up??

Probably heard that SUPER WALMART was going to sell Ice Cream and Cell Phones and decided to end their lease instead of being tied up in one that would mean losing business...

Coldstone out of business? Aw geesh, say it isn't SO!

Their phone number has also been disconnected...

It is almost like the ill-fated sandwich shop Quizno's all over again...

Alas, Coldstone, we hardly knew ye...

Cold Stone...Out!

Post by ac94503 »

I don't know about you but if I can go to Safeway and buy a quart of Ice Cream for $3.00...I am not interested in paying $6.00 for a cone!
I personally am not surprised!

Isn't this what the Chamber of Commerce is suppose to be all about? Bring business into this area that the residents will support? Apparently,
if 7-11 can sell an ice cream for a buck...no matter how much you try to personalize it...price matters!

Excellent location...but it still failed! Why?

The rental of property is usually the biggest problem for a small business. They would have to sell a lot of icecream before they could make ends meet. I would imagine that business is not great at this time of year...too cold.
