And so it begins
Here the city claims it needs the owners mountain top for a secondary water supply tank while it refurbishes its old one. They take the county assessors value(really really low), double it, and say thats what its worth. The owner, with planning experience, is getting the shaft from Calistoga- and wi...

Attorneys only work for free on TV and in the movies. No, this attorney will ask for and get legal fees if he prevails on appeal. And you can bet it be close at least 250 k or more.

Walmart litigation long from over as expected
The litigants are entitled to their day in court, especially if they have to pay legal fees or the bond. Should they prevail on appeal, these costs and the bond go away. THey have no choice but to appeal. Butler had to expect an appeal by going after legal fees or court costs and the bond. Had this ...

That is the problem with secret societies, governments with secrets- if they cannot blab about it, then they usually shouldnt be doing it. Eagles don't fly together....you find them one at a time."It's hard to fly with the eagles when you are surrounded by turkeys"
Ducks fly together, and they go quack quack quack.....like a group that makes a bunch of noise here in American Canyon...quack, quack quack.

Its water and leadership
I am not saying that litigation is the answer, but rather that it is irresponsible to allow the city to be in this position in the first place! When the Grand Jury issues a negative report like they did about American Canyons water losses at 30% , that is VERY BAD INDICATOR! When it is documented in...

Well, the problem with the Wal Mart is part in its location and its size. AC is really broken up by the overpass at Green Island Road, where it is mostly industrial to the north, and being developed with retail, commerical, medium and high density housing, and a town center to the south. The size wi...

The water FIASCO that YOU pay for
Just another classic example of why change in needed in American Canyon. For those of you who are unfamiliar, a recent report stated that AC is a huge water waster-losing up to 30% of its water supply by leaking pipes and water mains that are at the end of their useful life. ANd who pays for this mi...

What a absolute irresponsible position for the council to take. Wow. Incredible.
What are we paying for the city manager position per year?
