Heavy Rain Tonight and Tomorrow

by Issa » Mon Feb 06, 2017 6:38 pm

Heavy rain and wind is in the forecast! 2+ inches is possible overnight and tomorrow. City crews were out today making preparations. The self-service sandbag station is available next to City Hall. Just like the previous storms, this one could cause localized roadway flooding - especially on Highway 29 during the morning commute. Highway 29 is the responsibility of Caltrans and CHP (not the City), so please remember to sign-up for Nixle alerts (https://local.nixle.com/city/ca/napa/) to keep informed about road closures. Stay off the roads tomorrow AM if you can and please drive safely if you must go out!
